For All The Right Reasons

Without question, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. has the knowledge, the integrity and the fortitude our country needs to help regain its balance and become the nation that was envisioned in the promise of the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights.

. . . He has dedicated his life to serving others and speaking truth to power.

. . . He has been surrounded by power brokers all his life, and is familiar, both instinctually and intellectually, with how the world is controlled and who controls it.

. . . He can hit the ground running.

. . . He has the means and the contacts to access the money necessary to go head-to-head with anyone's war chest.

. . . He will not have to beg for campaign funds.

. . . He will not be in debt to Corporate America.

As for his legacy, he is Bobby's son -- and that legacy is a good one. Bobby Kennedy is alive, and if anyone should ask why he should run for President, we just need to quote his father, and ask, "Why not?" To those who say that he has not thrown his hat in the ring, I say, "There are times that call for certain people to come forward. For those of us seeking a new paradigm for our society, one has to look no further than RFK, Jr."

Dear RFK Supporters: Over the past week a number of Blogs and MySpaces have been created in support of our efforts. Rather than being frustrated by sometimes not knowing where a comment has landed, let's look at it as a positive development. The passion to see RFK elected has moved many people to jump in head first. Our advice is to keep up the spread of information. Contact as many blogs, newspapers, radio shows, organizations, Democratic clubs, friends and colleagues as possible, and let them know that this draft campaign exists. If we create enough buzz, RFK just might throw his hat in the ring. If he does, his supporters and admirers -- many with a great deal of power, name recognition and influence -- will knock down walls to get him elected. It's our job to make that happen! - RFB

Good luck in this effort, longshot though it may be. If there is any little thing I can do, just let me know. For starters, I will put a bumper sticker on my car here in Austin.

Would be fantastic to have someone with his environmental credentials in the White House.

"To me this [fighting pollution] is a struggle of good and evil--between short-term greed and ignorance and a long-term vision of building communities that are dignified and enriching."

I'd support Bobby. Does anyone know if he has expressed any interest in running? Some time ago I'd heard him say that he felt he had more power outside of government.

The initial goal of this Draft Campaign is to let RFK, Jr. know that he is the first choice of a great many Americans. Had the Democrats not won on November 7th, he might well have more impact on the outside; but with Democrats in control of Congress he can, as President, lead them to embrace the progressive agenda so many of us have fought for for so long.

It would be a dream come true--but can a country that voted for the Shrub TWICE really be capable of that kind of vision?

That said--you have my support. What can we do to help? Have we told the Bobster yet?

This is the best news I've heard in a long time, how fantastic it would be to have RFK run for president!!I consider him to be one of the most courageous, intelligent and compassionate people I have ever seen.He is an honest man who had the courage to speak the truth about the stolen elections,we have been waiting for this man,and I hope and pray he will accept the challenge!!

I worked as a volunteer for RFK's presidential campaign. Unfortunately, and tragically, he was killed on the the day I graduated from high school. To this day, he has and will ALWAYS be my hero! I am from Kennedy country-Massachusetts. I will continue to support RFK's effort in this countries survival. There is much work to do and we must repair damage done by ALL politicians who are in it for ego and self-love. We need a leader with heart, compassion and care, just like his dad. I will support whatever he chooses - in any capacity. Best-Deborah

The USA is in a real jam. A group of people who only believe in democracy if they can use it to get what they want, now control US. They are re-writing laws and disrespecting every citizen through lies, manipulation, spin, hate, fear, and a constant disregard for the will of the majority of citizens of this country. We are being ruled and controlled and forced into a direction that is more and more, day by day totalitarian. The best case is RFK gets elected with a lot of new faces in the senate and congress. Next best is that a new voice will be heard in the US that speaks the truth and enlightens the people to the jam we are all in together. RFK your fellow citizens are asking for your help and leadership.
